JAKARTA
PT MRT Jakarta, operators of the Jakarta Mass Rapid Transit in Indonesia, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Crossrail International (CI) for Capacity Building and Human Resources Development in Urban Railway.
The MoU was signed by the President Director of PT MRT Jakarta, William Sabandar, and CI Managing Director, Paul Dyson. The British Ambassador for Indonesia, ASEAN and Timor Leste, Moazzam Malik, witnessed the signing ceremony that took place at Dukuh Atas MRT Station in Central Jakarta City, Jakarta, Indonesia.
The scope of the MoU includes cooperation in developing PT MRT Jakarta’s Human Resources both in capability and capacity, including the establishment of an MRT Jakarta Academy.
CI will also participate in the project preparation study in respect of MRT extension lines and research for Transit-Oriented Development (TOD).
