Today, the Centre of Expertise for BIM in Railways was officially launched in Vietnam, marking an important milestone in the country’s infrastructure development and its commitment to modern, digitally enabled delivery.
We were pleased to join partners and stakeholders for the inauguration, alongside the British Ambassador to Vietnam, Iain Frew, and senior leadership from the Ministry of Construction. It was a strong reflection of the UK-Vietnam collaboration.

Established in partnership with the Institute of Construction Economics and supported by the UK Government, the Centre reflects a shared ambition to strengthen BIM capability across the railway sector.
At Crossrail International (CI) we are proud to have supported Vietnam over the past few years, including contributing to the design and development of the Centre of Expertise as part of the Green Cities, Infrastructure and Energy Programme.
This milestone highlights the value of sustained international collaboration in supporting complex, large-scale infrastructure programmes.
We look forward to continuing to support the Ministry of Construction in the delivery of the Centre of Excellence and supporting Vietnam in advancing its railway ambitions.
