As part of Crossrail International‘s ongoing role as strategic advisor for the proposed USD 2.4bn, 19.4km Ulaanbaatar Metro project, we are working closely with the Government of Mongolia to help shape a transformative mass transit system for the capital.
This week, our CEO Paul Dyson, and Subject-Matter Experts Patrick ten Have and Ian Lindsay, presented the project’s progress and next steps to the Integrated Project Management Office (IPMO) and key Ulaanbaatar city agencies responsible for delivering 24 major infrastructure projects currently in the pipeline.
Our team also met with Khishgee Nyambaatar, Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, to discuss how the metro will deliver wide-ranging social, environmental, economic, and urban development benefits for the city.
We are very excited to see momentum building for a project that will redefine sustainable urban mobility in Ulaanbaatar.
