Turner & Townsend, supported by HKA and Crossrail International, has been appointed by Transport for New South Wales as the Managed Services Partner (MSP) for the Project Management Office for Sydney Metro City & Southwest, the second phase of Australia’s largest public transport project.
The six-year MSP framework will further develop and manage the governance environment via its independent role, as well as implementing control systems and reporting standards, and providing consistency across the programme to ensure seamless delivery.
Crossrail International’s expert advisers are sharing insight and knowledge honed through the Crossrail programme for the delivery of this world scale megaproject, including advice on the client’s interface management structure necessary to integrate the various stages of the Sydney Metro programme. Services are being provided on a call-off basis through partners Turner & Townsend.
When complete, Sydney Metro will transform Sydney by helping to cut travel times, reduce congestion on the existing transport network and delivering social and economic benefits by supporting business growth, jobs, commercial and residential developments for generations to come.
