Patrick ten Have BTech (Cum Laude) PGDip (Project Management) is an experienced major project professional with over 20 years of experience in the management and construction of large, complex programmes and projects in the buildings, infrastructure and property/real estate sectors for public and private sector clients.

He has an excellent leadership track record of delivering projects through all aspects of the construction life cycle that are on time and within budget, both at an operational and client level. Patrick’s impressive project portfolio includes some of the world’s largest and most complex construction projects, including London’s Crossrail, the Sydney Metro in Australia, and the Fehmarn Belt Fixed Link connecting Denmark and Germany.

For the last 10 years, Patrick has been advising Crossrail Limited’s Programme Leadership Team on strategic, commercial, technical, organisational and programme delivery aspects of the Elizabeth Line in London, UK, Europe’s largest rail infrastructure project. He also provides ongoing expert consultancy services to Transport for London (TfL) for the proposed Crossrail 2 rail route through London.

Previously, Patrick held the position of Partner at construction and property consultancy Gardiner & Theobald. He was also Project Director at the Berkeley Group where he worked on the award-winning Paragon mixed-use development in west London.

Patrick commenced his career as a graduate quantity surveyor, design manager and project manager at Bouygues in South Africa. He later moved to the UK, joining Mace where he gained project management experience in the construction of large, mixed-use and commercial office developments in London.

Patrick completed his BTech (Cum Laude) in Building, Construction Management and Quantity Surveying at Durban University of Technology in South Africa. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management from Cranfield School of Management.
