Sir Terry Morgan CBE was appointed Non-Executive Chairman of Crossrail International in September 2017.
A leading figure in UK engineering and infrastructure, he has held the position of Chairman for both the Crossrail and High Speed 2 (HS2) projects. Between 2002 and 2009, Terry was Chief Executive Officer of Tube Lines, the public–private partnership company responsible for the infrastructure maintenance, renewal and upgrade of the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly London Underground lines.
Earlier in his distinguished career, Terry was Managing Director at the Rover Group (now Jaguar Land Rover) where he was responsible for the product development and production of the Range Rover, Discovery and Defender vehicles.
Terry was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2009 New Year Honours for services to public transport and was knighted in the 2016 Birthday Honours for services to infrastructure, skills, and employment. He holds Honorary Degrees from Loughborough University, Birmingham University and the University of East London (UEL). Terry is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Engineering & Technology, and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. He is also a Fellow of The City and Guilds of London Institute, and a past President of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
Terry completed an MSc in Engineering Production and Management at Birmingham University.
