Crossrail International’s Martin Buck and Rebecca Venn met recently in London with a visiting delegation from Mexico to share a wide range of lessons learned from the Crossrail project.

The meeting, hosted at RICS’ headquarters on Parliament Square, included discussions on third party funding, sustainability, land value capture and skills strategy. Marco Gutierrez Huerta, President Cámara Nacional de Empresas de Consultoría (CNEC) México, and Víctor Oswaldo Fuentes Solís, Senator for Nuevo León state, representing Mexico’s National Action Party (PAN), were particularly interested in Crossrail’s engagement with the supply chain throughout the UK and the wider benefits that the project set out to achieve.

Following the workshop, Crossrail International is exploring how our team of expert advisers can best support infrastructure programmes in Mexico as an informed consultant to government.

CNEC México – Cámara Nacional de Empresas de Consultoría – is Mexico’s National Chamber of Consulting Companies.
